The Infineon headquarters extension is characterized by its contrasting, generously proportioned opaque and transparent facades. The solid facade clasps the building from either side, like brackets, and acts as the backbone of the construction.

The building's configuration creates a calm and light center while the raised structure permits a continuous flow of nature at ground level. Traditional values and modern spirit are united within the project by use of natural materials for facade and interior elements.
