Situated on a prime spot along the Palma de Mallorca bay, this project is more a reinvention than a renovation. Formerly a non-descript 1960s concrete building with little in the way of memorable traits, the new structure will be clad in textile sculptures which resemble futuristic seaweed emerging from the sea below to cover the lower portion of the building. The upper part of the building is clad with more textiles, softening the previously monolithic structure by providing shade, texture and depth. A dramatic rooftop infinity pool cascades down the tower, collection on second story platform.

The hotel will consist of approximately 20 luxury suites ranging in size from 130-280 m2. This boutique hotel will also include a restaurant, bar/lounge, and ample fitness and spa and pool areas.

Construction is slated to begin in late 2009, with completion expected in early 2011.
