The design investigates the relationship between structure and nature, a common theme in Chinese Landscape architecture. The work place is introduced to a unique garden-campus setting. The originally flat site has been elaborately sculptured to create a central pond as well as a perimeter earth berm lined with trees – a reference to the famous gardens of Suzhou. Landscape and architecture blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.
