Built next to the Historic “Van de Kamp” bakery building in Los Angeles, this power plant will generate 10% of all the campuses energy from the sun, and showcase the mechanical nature of the plant. This direct link between nature and technology is embodied in the facade by referencing the style of the Dutch Art Nouveau.

Keeping in the spirit of the historic bakery, the facade references a former style of Dutch artistry that existed at the time the bakery was being built.
